freezing

help my computer keeps freezing, haven’t been able to finish a scan

run a boot scan for starters
also find out what you can disable in the startup list
and find out what services you have running, you can disable some of them
go to control panel/user accounts/change the way users login/disable use welcome screen.

you also might want to lose some effects like menu fade in ,cursor shadow ect.
type msconfig.exe in the run command in the startup menu and press go yuo will see services and startups
thats what i would do first to free up some resources,

then yuo may need a reg vac program and a prog like spybot to source out
inconsistanceys in the system.

you also may want to temporarily reduce the size of yuor page file.

disconnect from the net when yuo do this,

cheers

by the way this would be just an initial run,yuo may have to go further but i cannot say

also be carful not to disable anythng that you need,it better to follow a list and keep a record of what yuo have done,i wouldnt recommend it if yuo are not confident yet.

Additionally, you can go to the program settings and turn on the creation of the report file (with “OK files” to be included as well in the report). This way, you can find out where the scan really stopped (it’s going to be close to the end of the report).
The report file created (if you turned it on in program settings) will be (default location) at \Data\Report\Simple User Interface.txt
