Frustrated with New Install and Customer Support

I have used Avast for a couple years on a previous laptop and was very satisfied. Purchased new laptop and new Avast subscription and haven’t been able to download it, even with customer support! That is frustrating! I was told my new laptop (2 hours old) had problems, so I went and traded it in for another. I have spent hours on the phone with customer support and still don’t have Avast running! I’ve paid for this and haven’t even been able to use it!! Very frustrated!

Avast! telephone support is a third party support, and personally I don’t recommend it.

Download the correct version of Avast! from here :

Before you install Avast on that new computer you just bought, you first need to get rid of
the trial version of the Antivirus program that came pre-installed on your new computer.
Follow the directions outlined in my signature to successfully install Avast.
