Dave: The large date difference was to the fact that I had done a refresh down load of the pgm to ensure I had the most current version of the pgm - then I did a manual update of the data base - the version of the current protection did not change until I had done the reboot — BUG

This system is offline.

I can reproduce the same by uninstalling Avast and doing a reinstall - manual update of data base - take a snap shot before and after the reboot.

As I said you will get a bigger difference when doing a manual program update as that isn’t as critical to get the very latest VPS but to get the latest program version.

A program update should always be followed by a reboot, so anything before that I feel isn’t really going to be 100% accurate.

Why this happens in the case of the manual update of the VPS I don’t know, but I guess it requires the UI to be refreshed, bug I don’t know.
