Full scan and One Drive

When I do a full scan it always says that some files could not be scanned, and basically it is everything in one drive. I realize that it is just placeholders and so they can’t be scanned.

My question is, is there a way to remove one drive from the full scan so it doesn’t scan them anymore? A way to put an exception into the full scan somehow? I don’t want to try to make a custom scan, I simply want to stop the full scan from trying to scan the one drive.

A full scan is exactly what it says.
It will try to scan everything there is.
Removing a device from a full scan will make it not a full scan anymore.

If you don’t want to scan a device, you need to create a custom scan.

By One Drive do you mean Microsoft One Drive on-line data storage ?

If so my reading of the Full System Scan settings wouldn’t scan this as it isn’t a physical drive, see attached image.
