Full Scan caused blue screen

I recently did a full scan of my computer and when it got to about 34% a blue screen appeared saying the computer is shutting down to prevent further damage. It rebooted fine and said windows had a unexpected shutdown and had a BCCode 7a and C:\Windows\Minidump\102413-16723-01.dmp C:\Users\Home\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-55271-0.sysdata.xml this as an error. I haven’t ran the scan again and no problems with computer before or after it. I am concerned that the scan was aborted when it reached corrupted files but I do not know what to do.

More information needed,What OS,what are you running on it etc.

I did a search of “BCCode 7a” and found multiple hits but without knowing your OS their is very little we can do. ???
It appears to be hardware related. Please provide more info for better assistance. ???

Sorry about that. I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit, Intel Pentium 2.6GHZ, 1TB HD, and 4GB RAM.

This may or may not help but here’s this http://www.knowwindows.com/help/bluescreen+bccode+7a+help+.html#346510
Your issue is definitely hardware related and not avast related. I sincerely hope you don’t need to have your HDD reformatted.
