Full System Scan never terminates

Latest version of Avast, properly updated 12.3 (47217)

Full System Scan (I run every week!), now starts properly, and reaches 100%; but then continues forever. Had to force-quit the application after 22-hours!

This is a brand new bug, and needs some attention. Termination of the full-system-scan, at the appropriate point would be helpful !

What makes you think it is a bug?
It can be that something running on your system is causing it.

Hi kd7bwb,

Do you use the Time Machine backup built in to OS X?

This can cause insane scan times, and as such it is recommended to exclude these backups (the way the files are stored takes a extremely long time to scan).
