Full system scan / scan suspended

Hi,

I hope I’m posting in the right place for help with this, if not, my apologies.

I started a full system scan this evening; it found 1 infected file and then stopped at 81%, with a message saying ‘scan suspended’. It doesn’t seem to be giving me any options to start the scan again or do something about the infected file.

Could someone advise me on what to do next?

Is this a scheduled scan?
What version of avast are you running, v2014, v2015, etc.?
Have you tried a repair?

Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click “avast”>click “repair”>reboot.

I repaired (didn’t know you could do that - thanks for the tip :))and rebooted and it’s running fine now.
