Full Virus Scan not running

Hey All.

I have Avast 2017 Free and currently when I go to run a Full Virus Scan it does not start. Clicking the Full Virus Scan option it just comes up and says “Great! No Issues Found.” I can run a quick scan and a smart scan and they will run. The scan progress screen comes up on the quick scan and smart scan and shows the progress of the scan all the way through completion.

Operating System is a Windows 10 Home edition. It was the free upgrade from Windows 7 Home Edition. The last time I was able to run a Full Virus Scan was on April 17th, 2017.

Not sure why it will not scan.

I think I solved this, I just hit the back button and clicked on Full Virus scan and it worked. I will see what happens in the future. Thanks.

I have reported such an incident (scan goes straight to “Great! No Issues Found” in the current beta build 17.4.2293 https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=201164.msg1388244#msg1388244. This is however an intermittent issue and also effected the Quick scan.

However, I never had this happen in the latest regular release (17.3.2291). Though in the regular builds I rarely run on-demand scans, mainly during beta testing.
