This has been reported in other threads but I’m starting this thread to make sure that people see it. The simple thing is this. If you are using the avast! gadget, turn it off NOW. It prevents files you choose to not be sandboxed from being added to the exclusions list. When the gadget is running and you choose to run a program normally the next time, a meaningless and useless entry is inserted into the exclusions instead of the name and path of the actual file. With the gadget turned off, everything works as it should.

Yes it does. This has been tested by a few people and has always ending with the same result.
Yes, this is a known issue (one of the weirdest I have seen to date – but not so much once you understand the technical reason) and will be solved in the next program update.

What gadget? Also, the entire autosandbox routine is way to picky-picky. Programs that were not 'boxed in avast 6 need to be boxed now… at least in 7.1407. Super Text Twist, some duplicate bridge programs. Problems with DOS programs it seems…
