GainSync website false positive

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue where my website, gainsync.net, is getting blocked by Avast. I hope someone can help point me in the right direction to escalate the issue.

I’ve already submitted the URL through the false positive report web form a little while ago, but the block is still there and I haven’t received any response.

The website is about my software “GainSync”, which is a legitimate DJ software tool made for normalizing track loudness. There’s no malware at all. The exact warning Avast shows is “URL:Blacklist” with error code 292b4b97f73c/2026-09-10T12:25:01.959Z

Could please some moderator forward this to the virus lab so my webpage can be removed from the blacklist?

Thank you very much,

Best regards, Michael Švejcar

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

Currently on VirusTotal there are only 2/90 detections for your site.

There are sites that can also check a site link.

I will try and draw some Avast Team input into this matter.

Hello @michaelsvejcar ,

Thank you for raising this!

The reported domain was checked, and based on the findings, the detection was removed. The website is now marked as clean in the Avast database. This change may take up to 1 hour to take full effect. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused.

If the situation persists after 1 hour, please update the Avast virus database and try again.

Thank you, @DavidR, for highlighting this topic.
