Good day. I get regular hangs while playing WoW. It just freezes image and sound makes a crackling noise.
Now i noticed in my event logs that i always get an event-id 12 when it happens.
It seems Avast keeps resetting my policy schemes for some reason.
It’s quite annoying and i tried several things to stop it from happening.
Changed powerplan, removed and reinstalled Avast and so on.
Any idea what makes Avast change my powerplan so often?

It must be silent mode, try disabling it via Avast UI => Performance => Silent Mode.
