Just as i said in the subject title.
Avast is blocking
Host Process for Windows Services
System
and as for the game it’s Kritika online

Kritika is allowed in the firewall, but i cannot load the game or download updates, the game tells me “cannot download manifest” so i turn avast off, and i can download and everything else.
which i don’t want to do constantly whenever i want to play the game

as for system and host process i don’t know why they’re being blocked, they’re files apart of windows 10, i can’t update windows 10 because they’re blocked, i have to disable avast just to do that

Virus Definitions version is
170709-0

program version is
17.5.2302 (build 17.5.3559.0)

i’m using avast premier

i’d like to know why avast is doing this.
i’ve uninstalled then reinstalled avast and it still does this, i’ve restarted my internet as well
along with repairing avast itself, as for the game i have indeed tried reinstalling that as well

Hi, disable the behavior shield or set an exclusion.
Avast GUI → Settings → Components → Behavior Shield

  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Windows 10 64bit home premium, version 1703 OS build 15063.413 (windows 10 won’t update to the lastest build because it’s being blocked from updating)
MalwareBytes and spybot (they’re not running)
i’ve only used avast

First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of Spybot…!!

Then:

  1. Download Avast Premier Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

may i ask, what’s wrong with spybot?

It’s useless (esp. as you also have MBAM) and can conflict with Avast.

ah okay, i never really used spybot anyway, as for mbam i don’t load it up most of the time

Avastclear doesn’t want to run in safe mode
Same with the avast installer

Never mind ran it outside of safe mode then it rebooted my pc into safe mode and ran

Run the uninstaller in normal mode, it should ask to start/run in safe mode.

did a windows 10 update last night, avast is now blocking
System, Host Process for Windows Services and the game once again…

windows 10 build is now 15063.483

If the host process is blocked or not depends on what is using the host process.
