Games false positives

I am new to this forum, but have used avast for a long time. I can’t find a way to contact the people in charge, maybe you can help me find them or help with my false positives before I start having withdrawal symptoms. :stuck_out_tongue:

All of a sudden Avast has deemed Jewel Quest as a danger and puts it in the vault. I found exclusions and added it, it just moved it again. I turned it off and I can play my game, turn it on and it’s in the vault. I have played this game for years and it has been on this computer for over a year with no problem until today. Suggestions please.

You can send the files (false positives) to virus (at) avast (dot) com
Before adding an exclusion, please, upload the file to www.virustotal.com and check!

When you say “file” do you mean the name of the game or the suspected virus?

The file that was detected as infected. You need to upload the file to the virus total site and check.
It’s not the name of the file or game, but the file itself.

i would recomend in uploading the file to virus total if it says its clean just report it as a false positive
