:o I like Gaator it is free and allows me to have many profiles for auto-filling. I don’t mind GAIN pages.

How can I prevent AVAST from attacking it?

Mike

Why the heck do you want spyware on your system? Because that is what you do right now.

It is your system and choice ofcourse, but if that is what you want, why using something like Avast? You just as well may let all other harmfull stuff comming on your system as well.

Gator is a spyware…
Why don’t you try RoboForm (there is a free version) instead of it? :wink:

If, after all, you want it, just add it to the Exclusion list of avast :stuck_out_tongue:

Can you explain to this person how to add it to the exclusion list? ???

The free version of Roboform doesn’t allow enough profiles for me.

Besides I think the little gator girl is cute. ::slight_smile:

Plus you only have 30 day free trial with RoboForm and after that you have a limited version - with Gator you have the complete version and the pop ups are a small price to pay for the program if you like it and want it. It’s a person’s right to install what they want on their computer and if someone wants to use Gator - let them.

8)I put “gator” in the exclusion list. Is that enough?

Make sure to exclude/ignore ALL Gator, GAIN, or Claria files and Registry entries.

Thanks all for your help.

Please, no orders here… We’re trying to help. The people here has the exactly right to receive this help. If Gator is a problem or not, it’s a spyware, don’t come to avast forum to complain about what avast is doing perfectly good. See Links on my signature for more, free and un-limited profiles autologon applications :slight_smile:

I think you are silly if you allow Gator spyware onto your computer. You’re a very… weird guy.

Nutcase. ::slight_smile: :stuck_out_tongue:
You’re out of your mind if you really allow everything from gator onto your computer. Everyone hates spyware but you’re the only mad guy who loves spyware.
