GeiMiNi virus

I keep getting a notification from Google security that says that my phone has a GeiMiNi virus. Avast is not picking it up. When this occurs, and is has been very often, I keep getting a bunch of pop ups that keep redirecting me. I’m not a techie, so the simplest explanation would be so helpful, to remove it. Thank you.

what app did you download just before this started? … if you know, uninstall it

i dont think the forum removal team work on phones … you may try avast support https://support.avast.com > submit a support ticket

alternative, factory resett your phone
