My computer was infected with a virus. I ran Malwarebytes and AVG and I still cant get rid of whatever it is. When I open chrome or IE it says “cannot display webpage” I have google as the default homepage on both. When i run Firefox it goes ok except a script editor keeps appearing asking me to debug the page.
The AVG virus checker keeps telling me that GENERIC18.XUD is trying to run a setup.
Does anyone out there know what virus / malware this is and how to get rid of it?
Just AVG, when i tried installing Avast i kept getting a blue screen and the OS crashes which I am assuming is the virus trying to stop me from getting rid of it?
