get skin on Vista

Hi, im running on Vista and have the same issue as the question, below. This is taken from the FAQ section, but they dont explain what to do if you have Vista. Any suggestions?

Q: I have installed ‘avast! 4 Home’ and everytime I try to open it, I get an error message stating: “unknown error message”, “Application cannot load skin. Function usiGetSkin Failed”. How can I fix this?

I don’t know the location of the file in Vista but you can do a search for it aaand alter the command accordingly.

This example is for XP:
Select START → RUN…
Enter the following command:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE ACTSKIN4.OCX

You are looking for the location of regsrvr32.exe it might be in the same location I don’t know as I don’t use Vista.
If you can confirm the location of regsrvr32.exe in Vista thanks and report if the command worked ?

The command for Vista should be the same as for XP:

If you have Windows XP/Vista:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE ACTSKIN4.OCX

If you have Windows XP/Vista x64:
C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\REGSVR32.EXE ACTSKIN4.OCX

Thanks Tech.
