Hi everyone, I received an error when I start up avast. It is Unknown error program can not set property info main storage. Has anyone else received this error? Please let me know.

Hello all, I did a restart and that took care of the problem. Sorry about that. Now I know that I need to restart when in doubt.

Ok, if this happens again, just right click the avast tray icon, select Program Settings, switch to the Troubleshooting page and check the “Use XML Storage” box. Or you may try to open the \data\avast4.ini file and in the [Common] section, change the item Database=ODBC to Database=XML.
