Hi all
UK user…been using Avast Free for many months but since today getting an insecure network alert Rom 0. Have a Talk Talk Huawei HG 633 router which is apparently up to date with firmware and the firmware can only be up dated automatically by Talk Talk anyway.
Is this a false positive (caused by son’s xbox)or is there anything I can do to stop the alerts!

quite a few people myself included are getting this error at about the same time so i think it is highly possible that its a false possitive due to a bug in a recent avast update. if you scroll down on this forum post https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=181612.0 Andrey,pro links a rom-0 test site which will test if you are vulnerable to hacks through rom-0.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I see that it was a software glitch that has now been resolved by Avast
The last post in the topic (Reply #61) https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=181612.msg1284173#msg1284173, gives further clarification on the issue by ‘lukor,’ one of the avast team.
