FYI, you can also use this license for OA Premium and continue to use Avast! as your AV if you choose.

lol you are so fast
Thanks for the info!

Also available through the following link: ;D

Avast 5 free works well with the ++ version of online armor too.
Not sure if that is what you meant though.

Can’t tell wha/if any contention might occur with multiple AVs, but if you install a copy of OA Premium the license is good and you can add the AV of your choice to the excellent OA Firewall/HIPS. Many of us select Avast! 5. And if you decide that ++ is the best of the lot, you can install it again or keep it.

Hey, I’m running both at the moment without any issues. The way I understand OA’s av is only on-demand.

Can the licence key be sold ;D ?
Collecting money for now but who would want to buy that from me ;D ?

Nice find, got one hey I’ll stick on my laptop perhaps.

nobody you’re right ::slight_smile:

It’s Official. You can run Avast! 5 with your free Online Armor ++ if you want to give it a try. See http://support.tallemu.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=11847 . I don’t think I would try it with AIS, though.

Online Armor++ is rebranded a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5 with OA Premium fw.

I already have a free one year subscription for a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5, but I’ve never used it, a-squared has lots of fp’s from past experiences with a-squared free.

I used to be a ''fan" of OA fw, but it has gotten to be as buggy as PC Tools fw ::), so I ditched it.

I’m now a happy user of Privatefirewall & avast! 5.

but it has gotten to be as buggy as PC Tools fw
There's nothing buggy about PCTools Firewall ???

Yup nothing buggy haha but you sure are always great with PrivateFirewall and its up to you friend
I think that PrivateFirewall is also effective but I wonder if it is popular at all ???

lol I guess I should visit your link regularly ;D

It’s a gateway to many pleasant surprises.

That doesn’t make it buggy. It simply expresses the opinion of one user.
There are a few users in this forum that aren’t exactly happy which doesn’t mean that there are problems with avast!
