I’m not recommending the IObit Uninstaller. I’m just saying there’s another better alternative than Free Revo Uninstaller or Glary Utilities for one using Windows 7 64-bit (or maybe Vista too).
Of course if you uninstall program (especially something which come with protection against piracy, any antivirus or firewall, etc) either using Control Panel Add/Remove program or any third party uninstaller, there are always remnants of it (either file or registry key).
IObit Uninstaller does leave remnants (in my case is after uninstalling JRE), but it’s lesser than using Revo Free.
About IObit ethics. They are indeed a thief. However, if you’re really interested in history then after some digging, you’ll find that many big name company like Microsoft, Google, Sony, etc are quite the same though they are not blatantly stealing like IObit does. Still, that didn’t stop lots of people including me (and maybe you and other forum member here?) from using their product.
