For me, only 2887Mb

Bob, I’m really curious about your storage space now…
Did you get an employee in Google? ???
Why would I get an employee? I just posted what my storage amount reflects while I’m at the inbox.
Don’t have a clue why it’s higher for me. Maybe because I have more stored than you?
I may have found the answer.
The service currently provides over 2880 megabytes of free storage[4], and paid storage of up to 250 GB, shared over Picassa and Gmail.[5] The increase from 1 GB was announced on April 1, 2005, and was made for the first anniversary of Gmail. The announcement was accompanied by a statement that Google would “keep giving people more space forever”.[6] All Google will say about this now is that it will keep increasing by the second as long as they have enough space on their servers. Gmail’s storage will increase with 145 MB a year (equating to almost 0.4 MB per day).[7] If the present growth rate continues unchanged, storage capacity will reach 3 gigabytes by the middle of 2008. Gmail can also be used as an alternative hard drive.[8] On August 9th 2007, some users of Gmail, reported that their storage capacity had been increased to 9030MB (8.8GB).[9] The 9030MB of space is a culmination of the users complete storage space within Google Account (Picasa etc). This development seemed to occur at about the same time that Google began allowing purchasable Picasa storage space that may be used throughout the rest of the gmail account.
