Gmail looks and feelings

Hi, I got gmail, if I sign in I select in box messages first.
A listing is presented. Size is too small for me.
If I open a message I too find the text too small.
How to change settings to match my needs?
Windows 8.1 machine, 15,6 inch screen size, I have attached a Speccy txt file.

Exactly, looks like a bog standard Arial (Sans Serif) font - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arial - not dissimilar to that of the forum default text.

Windows also has a default text and there are many applications that use the windows default font.

I found the suggestions / instructions very usefull.
ctrl plus + amd / or ctrl plus - works just fine, thanks @ParaNoid.

The fact that the General forum allows you some leeway has no bearing on the protection you get from avast ???

Somehow you have taken that as some kind of inference about protection being up to date (?) and is support sufficient, when your initial question was unrelated to avast.

The General forum is totally unrelated to avast support that is in the other avast related sub-forum.
