Gmanbo fix

If there is nothing you need on it then I would recommend a reformat of that drive

Completed the format, but one thing; When it comes to the flush, what option should I pick? I don’t really USE flash, but I watch videos with it, and other random things that need it. I’m guessing everything, but I really don’t want to mess anything up.

I kill the lot - so unless you use Adobe then that would be a good option

Ah, that brings up one more thing. Is this something that should be done often, now and then, or maybe just once?

I do it every week or so - it’s amazing how many sites are now using flash cookies

Ugh, yikes, can’t believe that. Thanks for all the help, I don’t think there’s anything else I need! Thanks for all the help! :-*

Oh wait, any reason the recovery drive always has .7 GB taken, even after formatting?

Did this used to be a main drive on an old system ? If so it may have a recovery partition on it

I’m not sure, but when I look in it, it’s empty, even with showing hidden folders on.

In my old system, there were 3 drives, C, which had all the main info, D, which was empty, and E, which was the recovery drive, and it’s the one that’s showing .7gb taken. It’s now just called local disk though.

Unrelated to this, but still important, I recently got this error report:

"Address a problem with Away Mode System
This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between your computer’s Away Mode System and your 64-bit version of Windows. The Away Mode System is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows.

This problem is not critical, but you can prevent it from occurring again by disabling the Away Mode System in your computer’s BIOS. Refer to the instructions that came with your computer that explain how to access the BIOS and turn off Away Mode System support."

Changing BIOS settings requires moderate to advanced computer skills. If you are not experienced at changing BIOS settings, consider asking someone with more advanced skills to help you.

So I posted it here, in hopes you can help me with it real quick, or if I should just leave it since it says it’s not critical. Especially since I don’t have the manual or anything. :-X

If you go here and reverse the steps that will stop it

I looked all over in it, but I can’t find any option for away mode. Maybe it can’t be reached like that in a 64 bit operating system.

If it causes no harm or trouble I would leave it

Will do, thanks. ;D
