Gog.com's Galaxy client's updater is getting flagged as "FileRepMalware"

Looks like I’m not the first with this issue: http://mantis.gog.com/view.php?id=5483

Is this another false positive? It’d be nice to be able to remove GalaxyUpdater.exe from the chest without DELETING it, so I could upload it to VirusTotal for further analysis, but that’s the ONLY option I get. It’d be nice to have the most recent version of the Galaxy client.

Well, I got the updater whitelisted, now it’s claiming GalaxyClient.exe’s infected, too.

Only Avast and AVG seem to have a problem.

How to report >> https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=14433.msg1289438#msg1289438

and next time report in correct forum section

Avast Free Antivirus / Pro Antivirus / Internet Security/ Premier
Avast Free/Pro/IS/Premier topics and issues, not viruses or false alarms here!

Sorry about that, would a Mod please move this to the correct forum section, please?

As a side note, I ended up having to boot from a live disk to make those submissions, the system would not let me touch those files to upload them, even with all of Avast’s shields disabled, and all files in the respective directories whitelisted. Also turns out, that even though I told the Avast popup to make an exclusion for these when it detected them, no exclusion entries were ever created.
