Well it seem now that Google has started a beta program of call and instant messaging! I said months ago that they’re headed for the inevitable, that of full fledged browser status. They’ve apparently succeed with email and have climbed steadily and surely up the ladder from that point. The boys at AOL, MSN, Yahoo must be sweating bullets, with this new contender in the internet arena especially one with such bona fide credentials!! LOL! It should be very interesting indeed to see the ultimate outcome when Google makes their goal official! And what’s so great is that all this fierce competition will only benefit the consumer! I say let the games begin!!!
you mean Google Talk ? that’s old news (month(s)) …
anyway i see it more as response to Skype then MSN and in last AIM/ICQ/YIM …
And there is still no Google talk app for Mac OS X
Do not worry, it will be developed eventually… anyway, even for Windows it’s still in beta phase… it lasts for so long, unbelievable long… I can’t wait to see gold edition out.
i have not tryed it yet, i will most likely try it when the final version is released.
I’m waiting till Trillian adds it to it’s list of IM services. ;D
Goggle is a scam site with a ton of malware. My friend accidentally typed in the wrong URL and he trashed his machine. People need to stop spelling “Google” wrong.
Maybe your friend needs to start using avast!6. Even the free version stops crapp from there:

They do use it now. It took forever to convince them though, I don’t know why people wouldn’t use any Anti-Virus, Firewall or Site-Blocking software. It seems irrational not to protect $900 machine with a $50 download, or even with avast! free.
