GOOD NEWS --- bad news

[b]Good News
Alice is now #4 on the Transplant list.
(The original Post goes back to the Off- Topic Forum and can be found Here
By Thursday of this week we’ll be leaving for Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
We will remain there for 3 month after the transplant itself has taken place.
More information at the following website:
http://home.comcast.net/~bob03160/HelpAlice.html

The bad news
The place where we’ll be staying, ( Twice Blessed House ) has no
internet access facilities.
Since I don’t have a laptop, at this point, I still haven’t figured out how or if I’ll be able to do
anything online while we’re away.

We are currently waiting for Alice to receive one more infusion of albumin at
our local hospital. They unfortunately ran out last week.
Once that procedure is done, we’ll leave home for the 13 hr car trip to Dallas.

Very good news, Bob … my wishes and prayers for the very best!

Well, if you have no internet access, we will miss you but will understand fully why you are not here.

My best wishes and prayers goes out to you Bob and Alice.

cheers and a Speedy recovery

That is so great for Alice!! You both must be very excited.

Where I live, the public library has many computer terminals available for use. You just leave your driver’s licence or library card at the desk and you are good to go for awhile. I’m thinking that there may be a public library near where you will be and that you would at least be able to get on a terminal and post to the forum from there.

Best of luck to your wife and you Bob. Hope everything goes just perfect for her. Good luck.

All the very best wishes for a speedy recovey Alice and Bob
Take care God bless Our prayers will be with you

We’re joined together in this journey, praying and hoping.
Hoping you can, soon, post the very best news of you and Alice 8)

Just as I said before I will repeat now… All the best to you and to your wonderful wife Alice ! I wish her speed recovery and I trully hope everything will be just as it was before… if not, at least something very close.

Also, I want my forum friends to pay attention to this link Bob provided:

http://home.comcast.net/~bob03160/HelpAlice.html

So as always, you can see your true friends when some problems starts to hit you. So, I feel free to invite everybody who can help financially to do so and help this wonderful lady and her family. For all those who can’t, there is no shame and it is completely and 110% understandable… there are always some other ways to support people in needs. Be a friend and act as one.

Again, let’s prove we all are true friends, and we all are one big and wonderful unit… that used to make us different from any other forums out there. You never know when something like this can hit you or someone you love, so be good to others, and others will be good to you. Good is returned with good.

Cheers !

Bob: Judith and I send our prayers and good wishes to you and Alice. We hope all goes well. Keep in touch.

Bob, my very best wishes to Alice, good luck to you and a speedy recovery.

Congratulations, and good luck.

My very best wishes to Alice and you Bob. Fast recovery  and Good Luck ;D

Bob,

I read these words in an old thread and thought it would be good to remind you of them:

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

My prayers are with you and Alice.

Thanks to all of you who replied to my “Please Help Alice” appeal.
At a time like this, all of the well wishes and prayers
are greatly appreciated and mean more then you’ll
probably ever know.

A sincere thanks also to any one who was able to help financially.

I again urge all of you to become organ donors.
I promise it’s painless and easy to do and could help so many
who can no longer help themselves.

If this helps to save just one life, then I’ll have no regrets for having made this HelpAlice appeal.
Bob

I have been an organ donor for more than 10 years. It even says so on my drivers license card. My family also knows my desire for this. After I am gone from this world, I hope someone can be helped with what is left.

Hi,

have been watching Avast forum without logging in as I forgot my forum-ID and previous nickname too.

Just re-created one to reply to this topic.

Health is something most of us take for granted, which is understandable. Only if something starts to go wrong you realise this.

All the best! Lots of strenght wished (which I am pretty sure has already been needed)

PS: I am organ donor (by law as in my country you are so by law, unless you explicitly reject. My country sometimes makes good laws)

Best regards,

Anothermack

anothermack, I fully agree!!!! Wish my country would pass a similar law. ;D

(They do it to allow increases in our elected officials salaries with out having to actually vote for the increase. >:()
