I rather prefer the Chromium without all the Google privacy snooping issues, and that is RSWare’s Iron.
Now also comes with an adblocker.

Unfortunately right now it's running on an old version. Hope they update soon.

After my previous experience with the Chrome beta and the total lack of configuration or support for add-ons, rubbish uninstall, etc.

I’m in rush to try it just yet I think this is being pushed out the door in far to much haste, so I will maintain a watching brief until it is somewhat more mature. Unlike polonus, I’m not too concerned about any google privacy issues.

When I tried Chrome in September, the only thing it had going for it was slightly better speed. I think that’s because it is without extras like in FF and Opera. If or when they start adding bells and whistles, I think you’ll see the speed comparable to FF and Opera. As a FF user, I think I’ll wait about a year and see how Chrome looks then. :wink:

Latest update of Iron was end of November. Mind you, you have to go to their download site to update to the latest version,
