Google Chrome middle mouse button sometimes work sometimes doesnt

So it happens since I upgraded to Avast Internet Security. When I click the middle mouse button to open new tabs sometimes it works sometimes doesnt. which makes my life harder. What can I do?
I have google chrome latest version 64bit and Avast Internet Security latest version
