Avast wont let me update my chrome.Im getting constant Alert of a trj win32/fareit-cmchelp needed
since this morning avast free is picking up google chrome update as a trojan and is constantly blocking it with displaying it as win32.Fareit.LM(Trj). I am not the only person with this problem as you can see with this link below of this being discussed in another forum as well

Run scans using MalwareBytes and avast. ???

Thank goodness for that! It scared the life out of me! I ought to have know better really! To be really sure I boot time scanned (which found 17 infected files within Java) with the LAN plug disconnected.
