This is soooo good… I just can’t wait (actually I hope) to see much better and more powerful file browser, and file/folders manager. For now, all you can do is use their pre-defined templates, so you’re pretty much very limited what you can do about your personal web space on Google.
But sure, wonderful idea.

At this point, it’s saving grace is the EditHTML function.
I used NVU for the following website and then simply copied the html into the google edit screen.
You be the judge:
HighlyRecommended
Yes it is nice Bob, but still I am talking about all those little parts that makes one site a unit. For example, I have more than 20 subfolders, and some of them contains more than 100 files inside (gfx parts and slices for the site background). Uploading those files one by one would be simple impossible… also, there is no way to create folders and subfolders, and when you have such a complex web sites, you need to organize things, otherwise it will be a mess… besides, that’s the only way to keep things in order. Some internal links inside one HTML page can have paths which points to some files in some subfolders, so you need to have them…
Hi bob,
How do you find all these google stuff?
Is there a notification email thing about new products coming out on google or something?
Thanks,
Henry
How do you find all these google stuff?By keeping my eyes and ears open.... ;D
Is there a notification email thing about new products coming out on google or something?None that I know of but Google is always coming out with new stuff that's why their stock is worth so much... (wish I had some :))
From the main Google search page at the top, click on More and you get this page …

Several days ago, the website services were listed but I do not see them there now. There was a report that Google was flooded with customers for this and had to stop offering it for a while.
