I been trying to get rid of this for awhile, i tried malwarebytes and that got rid of the virus Xp windows security 2012, but then anytime i try to search something it redirects me to a different site. Malwarebyes can’t detect it and hitman pro had some results in the scan but none that care of the redirct virus. Any way i can get rid of it?
I suggest:
- Clean your temporary files.
- Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on. If avast does not detect it, you can try DrWeb CureIT! instead.
- Use Comodo Cleaning Essentials (CCE), or MBAM, or SUPERantispyware to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, it is better and safer to send the infected file(s) to quarantine (Chest), rather than simply deleting them.
- Test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest avast! antirootkit or Trend Micro RootkitBuster.
- Read this instructions and provide more info with the logs generated.
- Clean your Hosts file (replacing it) with HostsMan tool.
- Disable System Restore and then reenable it again.
- Immunize your system with SpywareBlaster.
- Check if you have insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector.
If the infection avoids booting the computer, take a look here http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=79107.0

( post the logs here and not in the guide )
To avoid using multiple post with copy and paste you have to attach the log`s
Lower left corner: Additional Options > Attach ( Malwarebytes log / OTL log / aswMBR log ) save OTL log as ANSI
Essexboy will look at the logs when he arrive here later today…
Okay, here are the logs
Could you check for redirects on completion of this run please
