[*]To run the tool, double-click it (XP), or right-click and select Run As Administrator (Vista).

Just had a redirect to “K directory”, going to do the goored scan now.
I did get a runtime error after the scan saying couldnt access memory but i think goored did its job, log added.
Typical I really should go for the easy solution first - but as I don’t use FF I rarely think of it
Run it for a while and let me know if it recurs, if it doesn’t I will remove my tools and tidy up

Should I get rid of the tools u asked me to install i.e. CF, av4 etc?

Open OTL and click Cleanup. OTL will clear itself and ComboFix as well. Then you can manually delete AVZ.
