I have googlebar (fixed) firefox add-on installed on several PC’s with no problem but Avast pops up a warning that it’s an add-on with a bad reputation…yet I find no other indication of problems with this add-on searching the internet and running several anti-malware programs.
The “fixed” refers to a minor adjustment that was made so the old add-on would work with newer versions of Firefox.
Any insight as to what Avast dislikes?

I can only find a googlebar which is 4 years old, and a Googlebar Lite from last year.
