JPMorgan Chase may not support GoogleChrome and Operas browsers, IE6 and Fx are normally supported, the browsers that may be dropped are dropped because they do not ‘all offer the minimum levels of security that we require while others may not perform well with our site.’ After July 18 you may not be able to access the website with a browser that they do not support. The list of browsers they currently support seems outdated: Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher, Firefox 2.0 and higher, and Safari 3.0 and higher (for Macs only). With usage of IE6 plummeting and concerns about its security well known, the inclusion of that browser seems suspect. On the other extreme, rising star Chrome appears to be left out, too. What does Google think of that?
Am I wrong in my assumption in that this is completely retarded?
Since when is IE6 more secure than google chrome?
Sounds a bit like they didn’t feel like coding for more browsers than 3, and just put some BS out that chrome wasn’t secure enough so they didn’t have to support it.

Remember, this is JPMorgan-Chase. You have answered your own question.
IE6 are they nuts
Yes … yes, they are.
Don't blame them! Usually the website developer has to be blamed!
No, it is the ultimate responsibility of the company itself to ensure the safety of all it’s components and this would include websites as well as access to those websites.
