Nice going for a browser like Chrome^^

But Im still living with FF ;D

Yup, I love Google Chrome, seems elegant, but still yet I prefer using Fx

@+AdDicT+,

I don’t now, but I though people use Fx that stand for Firefox, because FF was more likely stand for Final Fantasy series game - CMIIW.

I still use FireFox even though I love chrome and have the developer version installed

[font=Segoe UI]I can’t really rely on Chrome yet for since it could not display some pages very well. and for some instance, it does not like 5 tabs of running flash since it would just “snap”. Happens mostly on Youtube. On the contrary, I like the low memory usage which Firefox has been hogging. I might reconsider it once 4 is stable.

OFF: Here, Fx here means a cab.

I use Fx for learning web developer now (its has the plugin and easy to use), though for rending I love more Opera and Chrome

According to what I know,

Fx is used as a general rep for firefox and flock etc browsers or rather firefox based(engine) browsers. :-\ Sir pol can confirm, I guess… ???

Thanks

Hi Cahya,

Fx is the in-crowd abbreviation used among developers and Mozilla forum users to denote Firefox (the browser). Flock is a Mozilla type of Web 2 browser developed by coders from Palo Alto US.
Fx is associated with the Google browser, Flock with Yahoo…
Other abbreviations used on the forums: NS = NoScript, a script blocking extension for Fx, and RP = RequestPolicy, an extension?add-on to selectively allow or deny browser requests.
The developer test version of Fx is called Minefield (nightly test builds) and to have your prefered add-ons work in this browser one could use Nightly Tester Tools to resurrect them if they are incompatible with the latest nightly builds or version of Minefield: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6543

P.S. keep a finger on the Fx-pulse here: http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/

D

Still using FF and Opera as my most used browser.

However, I like Chrome’s speed, and I can run utorrent with it. Other browsers will keep on loading once utorrent is on.

I like chrome, but the problem is, it only goes at HALF my usual download speed. so I dropped it, and went for FF instead, as I’m off the incredibly vulnerable IE bandwagon.

Yeah, the only thing that put me off is the incredibly low download speed. I wondered if it was my connection, but it wasn’t.

I’m staying with Firefox for now.

Thanks Polonus

Thanks for the insight, sir Pol.

Thanks for the confirmation Pol^^

Here in the Philippines, just as Larc said, Fx literally means a cab, a PUV/PUJ or something like a van^^
e.g. [tamaraw Fx]

So let me just use FF for a while and I’ll use Fx later on^^ I seem to love FF^^

I did not expect that it would be a big issue… We’re kinda used to FF so we’ll try to get used to Fx soon.

the question is when you’re used to FF, how do you get used to not using it anymore and use Chrome instead ? ;D gotta say I like Chrome very much, but in terms of security, even with some of the new extensions, I just can’t trust it. But it’s so freaking fast…yeah, decisions  also the fact that you don’t have a secured password manager in it… lastpass extension sounds secure but it’s online…why does Chrome exist now ??? just to tease FF users with its speed if you want my opinion  and that’s getting upsetting because the choice is not easy: functionality and security versus…speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

Do google chrome has a web developer plugin/extension? Because firefox has one - and thats what I need.

Chrome is useless in pre v4.x versions. V 4.x is good because it has extensions support so it can finally even virtually compare to Firefox or Opera functionality. As for the Safari, all they have is WebKit performance, but otherwise its full of pretty much useless functions that Apple brags about all the freakin time.
