Gorilla Price malware removal

Hello, I pay for the Avast Internet Security and am kind of disappointed that it does not seem to be able to remove Gorilla Price.
I have also tried the Microsoft Security Suite, Windows Defender and Microsoft Safety Scan. I do remove it from the Internet Explorer via Internet Options, and have found files for Gorilla Price and have deleted them using File Manager.

  • Other than installing a new hard drive and clean install of Windows 7 is there an effective method to remove Gorilla Price and keep it removed?
    I have read online about five or six methods to remove Gorilla Price and the 20+ other malware programs it brings in. So far I have been successful as far as I know in preventing the other malware programs from re-infecting the computer. The Gorilla Price keeps coming back occasionally to the browsers. I have uninstalled all the browsers except Internet Explorer so there is only one to keep track of.

It seems as if Gorilla Price has been causing problems for a couple years. I have been fighting with it for over 6 months. Has anyone figured out how to remove and block it. Why can’t Avast handle Gorilla Price?
Does anyone have any permanent solutions for Gorilla Price?

Things to do to avoid it:

  1. Make sure you have checked in Avast " Scan for Potentially Unwanted Programs ( PUPs ) ".
  2. When downloading free programs do so from the manufacturer and not from third party sites like Softonic or CNET
  3. Use a ad-block addons for your browser like Ad-Block Plus or U-Block
  4. Use Unchecky to circumvent the click, click, click syndrome when installing programs so that bundled programs do not install too.

Remember. Your security programs just can do that much. The rest is in your hands. Be safe.
