What AV did you use before avast?.. did your computer come with a factory installed AV like Norton / McAfee / TrendMicro
Did you uninstall it before installing avast?

I had AVG for as long as I can remember on all machines,I did uninstall, then had free avast for last few weeks, seemed to work fine on all pc,s thats why I decided to buy the paid version for 3 pc,s.My oldest acer XP pc was giving me problems so run avast no threats but still need problems sorted will run a hijack soon but that can wait
.As said the acer xp and toshiba win 7 have come up and seems to be working fine have the icon with safezone on both pc’s,its just that I cant get the same on my samsung notebook,When I click on licence I get message saying it will be upgraded but doesnt says cannot connect to device try later been trying for 2 days same message. If I leave the 2 that are fine will I just uninstall the notebook or will that throw the others off.If I cant get this solved I will be looking for a full refund I paid for avast to cover 3 pc’s, thats what what I expect, please help me
