ok I have a Ati Radeon PCI-E 4350. Its compacity is 512 MB. I recently used Can You Run It? (website) and when I scrolled down to graphics card Can You Run It found a 1280 MB Graphics card… Surely its not mine and this is a terrible mistake Dxdiag also showed the card to be a 1280 MB.
I thought it was a driver problem so I installed the drivers specific for my card and Catalyst Control Centre DOES Show it to be 512MB.
Is this error something I should discard or is my card running at douple what it should be?
No overclock at all.
When it was installed when I had my OEM it registered as 512. Also when I installed Vista Ultimate it also registered as 512MB but somewhere at some point it changed no modifications done. No noise from it either, sure is quiet for supposedly runnin double time… but quiet is always bad…Gigabyte makes the card… They sent a disc with the graphics card with a overclocking program not sure if thats help to you. On the install disc it had it marked as optional. I’m just worried about it.
oh here we go… I just know this is going to end in terrible news but

This is my hard drive is this bad??
226 degrees!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? bad is ranging 55 degrees???
I have a hard drive cooler on this drive only. The other drive is running at 29 degrees and this drive is in the machine a little slanted due to the fans could this be why??
I’m sorry it just alarmed me when I saw that and got worried. The Graphics card indicated Core clock speed and 650 and Memory Clock and 400.
When I was browsing the other tabs I made my way to the hard drive one and noticed the above stats and the temperature at what its running. 226 seems hot compared to 29.
I rather doubt the accuracy of that 225oC temperature, that is bl**dy hot and most computer hardware elements would have given up the ghost long before that, black screen crash or chip burnout, etc.
Temperature inaccuracies like this are usually due to incorrect detection of the sensor type.
See my hard disk stats from speccy, image1 and my graphics card which has always run this hot whilst it is still within the maximum temperature range, image2.
Thank you.
I do not see where it indicates the size I thought i was reading the size to you?
His picture shows his memory
Mine does not have that one line showing it nor stating it being unavailable its simply not there.

My dxdiag and another program thats shows my hardware specs indicate my grphics card as an 1280 MB card. Is there a way to correct this? Is it damaging my card?
I have an nvidia gpu which is 512meg but shared with the system it say’s 1791meg and 2303meg combined so you should not be to concerned plus if your system is running nicely and the graffic’s are working it’s all good
True enough just thought I’d ask because if it was indeed overclock it was clocked over double its compacity. It seemed like an issue needing to be resolved.
Shared system memory varies from chipset to chipset
Like craigb I have 512MB nvidia but I will see shared sys at 1407MB giving 1919MB total
Try SIW from http://www.gtopala.com/ and see what it says
