I lost a half a day dealing with this erroneous sfloppy.sys problem today.
I’m a big fan of the quality and reliability of Avast after several years, but that
can change overnight with another glitch like today’s.
Please do not slack off on your quality control.

I can agree that this shouldn’t have happened, but in the past other antivirus companies have done the same and worse. Last year McAfee sent out an update that ended up telling the software to delete a critical system file. I’m just glad the avast! software doesn’t auto delete by default.
