green checkmarks

how do i stop the green checkmarks on say a google search page

The only way to remove them is to disable the avast! Online Security (AOS) add-on. There isn’t an option to remove the search checkmarks but leave the rest. I guess this is mainly because the point of AOS is to indicate sites in search results that you might want to avoid.

The green checkmarks indicate the safety of that website according to the “avast online security” add-on.
Personally I don’t use the AOS, the only thing I can recommend is to disable it in your browser(s).
Or you can remove it completely by…Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click “avast”>click “change”>untick “browser protection”>reboot
You will still be protected by the resident shields since they are the “real” protection.

thank you thank you
