Grime -Fighter doesn't connect

I recently bougth for 2 computers Avast Internet Security and the Grime Fighter.
Antivirus intalled ok.

Any time I try to run the application, since day 1 Grime Fighter , shows me this message:

It seems that you are offline

In order for the minions to work effectively, your computer needs to be connected to the internet.
Once you reconnect to the Internet, we can begin.

How come this message pops up when I am already connected to the web 24/7 ?

How exactly do you connect?
Wifi, wire or…?

My computer is connected by wire.

It should work with a wired connection.
It could be the server had some problems.
Have you tried again?

I’ve tried about 10 times with the same result.

By the way, it is a windows 7 machine.

Today I tried again to open Grimefighter with the same result, tells me to connect to the internet.

What do you think about this issue since I am leaving this message to all of you to read it ? Am I or not connected ? Just make a guess and tell me.

Sometimes GrimeFighter does not work with some network adapters and it appears this is the case here. I have to unfortunately suggest you open a support ticket and ask for a refund in this case.

Please let me know if you have any issues with the refund and I will try to push it along

just curious but could it be that if there are newer drivers for a card it will work or is it specific for certain chipsets or something?

Today I filled a ticket for a refund. Thanks for nothing Avast.

Haven’t receive any response from Avast. What a support !!! >:(
