hello, i am using an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard with built in wireless and dual LAN. grimefighter does not recognize nor configure my wireless nor one of the two LAN devices (both are seperate controllers) but i am fairly certain it is built off of a Debian kernel. can some one tell me how i might be able to get around this since i dont have a cat-5 cable long enough to reach across half my house to hard wire into the one port it CAN recognize? if there is a separate method for asking for grimefighter support could some one respond with such?
(sorry for the multiple post, was having an issue with chrome not responding to the posting edit 12/1/14@9:29AM eastern time)
As far as I know it has to be connected via LAN, GF is also incompatible with NVidia graphics cards ( it was the last time I read the requirements ) so if you have one of those don’t use GF.
using an ATI card, also the asus board has integrated intel graphics in case of emergency. my point is that the system is debian based, a standard linux kernel, why cant they use standardized driver sets to initialize the necessary components? i know this isnt the best example to use in any situation but, even windows has universal drivers that can operate most devices safely until the correct drivers are installed.
