So I have Free antivirus 2014.9.0.2011 installed, and have used the “Change” option to tick the GrimeFighter box. I have since rebooted several times.
I understand the GrimeFighter is free standing “pay for” software, but I was expecting after the “change” to see a link to it added into the Avast GUI. I can’t however find any option in the GUI to do with GrimeFighter. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place.
Any advice appreciated

far as I know, Grime Fighter is only available in the Premier.

If that is correct then it doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense from a marketing point of view.
Given that GrimeFighter I believe is a “free standing” program that has to be purchased, then I am surprised that Avast would not provide links in all of the versions of the antivirus, including the free version, to encourage a maximum opportunity for sales of GrimeFighter.
