Grimefighter - Phone number for refund?

Alright, I have done everything Avast asked me to do when it comes to submitting a ticket for a refund. That ticket has not been looked at. So three days later I updated (not resubmitted) my ticket with the question about why it has not been looked at yet. Still no answer. I have checked all my email folders including the spam folder to make sure I didn’t miss an email.

Is there a phone number to talk to an actual person that can help resolve this? This is a joke. Even with Grimefighter not working for me, I was still a fan of Avast, but if this is the way their customer service is when a problem arises. I’m out.

My ticket still shows as open and the only updates to my tickets are when I opened it and when I added my note. It said when I submitted it, that I should receive my initial response within 24 hours.

Here is my ticket number if anyone from Avast actually checks these boards.

Thank you for responding, I really do appreciate someone actually replying. I did do a search and found no phone number, that is why I asked my question. Your link doesn’t tell me anything except to have patience. I have patience, but if a company tells me to expect a response in a certain amount of time, then I expect that response. If it is longer, then change the timeframe inside the ticket process and the auto-reply. Then I wouldn’t post this. They also have a deadline for refunds. I do not want to miss that deadline, because I am sure they will hold true to that one.

A company cannot expect someone to come to there forums to find out there is a delay, they expect to be told that up front. If you call a company don’t they tell how long your wait time is?

A refund can take two weeks.
You will not miss the deadline because it doesn’t matter when they are handling it but when you submitted the ticket.

I have just followed up with our Refund team and they have issued the refund. It can still take a couple of days for the bank to process that but be sure the money is on it’s way back to you.

Davidek, I also submitted a refund request ticket because of the “It’s not you, it’s us” message appearing on my machines. When can I expect my refund, as I submitted my ticket a couple days ago? I really need my $29.99 back.

It can take 10 business days (= 2 weeks).
Have patience.

Hello, Davidek. I got a confirmation message today; it said that the refund is on its way. It has not yet shown up in my account. I was told that the refund could take as many as 15 business days.

Ok thanks, I’m understanding that to mean now that your refund is processed the banks involved with transferring the actual funds will take 15 Buisness Days?

It could take as many as 15 business days. I hope it does not take that long.

I am always happy to help. My refund came today. I am very relieved. I will still use avast! Free Antivirus, but GrimeFighter did the job on only one machine.

The word is BUSINESS, not buisness. There is no such word as “buisness”.
