Hacker Infection

I’ve just had an email from a hacker that claims to have sent an email from my account. They revealed my password for that account so maybe it’s true.

They claim to have webcam video which is odd as I don’t have a webcam and have a dump of my browsing data and email contacts.

Could I have some help to see if my PC is infected?

Thanks,

Stephen

Thanks for the reply. I have since done more investigation and while yes, it is a password I use, it isn’t a current one for email or other sensitive data but a regular one I use for internet shopping so maybe that’s where it came from.

Thanks for the reassurance. I don’t really fancy the slog of finding stuff nor want to waste anyone’s time helping me with something that isn’t a real concern.

Thanks again.

Cheers.

Stephen
