Many thanks, guys. :slight_smile: I’d add thanks to anyone still to come (and will anyway), but in fairness I should check back here Monday in case any special individual thanks are necessary.

OMG, the big six-oh. :stuck_out_tongue: It does have its bright side, though – Canadian citizenship is much easier to get after 60 (no exam), so I’ll probably apply for that after nearly 35 years residence here as a US citizen. Post-9/11 travel documentation for even just to & from the US has become a nightmare for us “landed immigrants”, so citizenship will simplify that considerably.

@ Spyros - not necessarily true… I send to my folks some packages quite often (some toys for my sister’s daughter, and my wife’s little nephew). When I want to send something, I always do that on Fridays. Now pay attention… next (very next) Wednesday, post office in my little town in Croatia, delivers package to my parent’s doors. Just a simple, regular mail (by air). It means it takes just 2 and a half work days. And it’s like a rule. I do that almost every second/third month since the day we came here (3 and a half years now) and it’s always like that. It never happened that they my folks get those packages after the Wednesday.
