LOL, that’s a good one! Sorry, I don’t have any cute/funny pics to post.

However, Happy Mother’s day to all mothers!

Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers. I lost my mom back in 1982, so to all that still have their moms I say appreciate them, cherish them and above all spend as much time as you can with them.

Fully agree with you. Mine is also gone but never forgotten.
Mom’s are a precious commodity often taken for granted until it’s too late.
If you still have yours, count your blessings and tell her that you love her every day.
Not Only on Mothers Day.

Happy Mothers Day also to all the Mom members on this forum. :-*

alto my mother died in 1987 and my farther died in1999. I feel my mother beside me a lot of the time and my farther. I do wish to all mother to have a special day and let them know they well be in my prays.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms in the Whole World…!!

Things My Mom Taught Me

  1. My Mother taught me about ANTICIPATION…
“Just wait until your father gets home.”

  2. My Mother taught me about RECEIVING…
“You are going to get it when we get home!”

  3. My Mother taught me to MEET A CHALLENGE…
“What were you thinking? Answer me when I talk to you! Don’t talk back to me!”

  4. My Mother taught me LOGIC…
“If you fall out off that swing and break your neck, you’re not going to the store with me.”

  5. My Mother taught me MEDICAL SCIENCE…
“If you don’t stop crossing your eyes, they are going to freeze that way.”

  6. My Mother taught me to THINK AHEAD…
“If you don’t pass your spelling test, you’ll never get a good job.”

  7. My Mother taught me HUMOR…
“When that lawn mower cuts off your toes, don’t come running to me.”

  8. My Mother taught me how to BECOME AN ADULT…
“If you don’t eat your vegetables, you’ll never grow up.”

  9. My Mother taught me about GENETICS…
    “You’re just like your father.”

  10. My Mother taught me about my MY ROOTS…
“Do you think you were born in a barn?”

  11. My Mother taught me about WISDOM OF AGE…
"When you get to be my age, you will understand.

"And last but not least…

  1. My Mother taught me about JUSTICE…
"One day you’ll have kids, and I hope they turn out just like you…Then you’ll see what it’s like!

You can tell how much I Love My Mother-as much as i’ve posted-you only have one

Mother’s Day is celebrated in the US to honor all Mothers.

Hi bob3160,

In Frisia you will find a statue of what the Frisians consider to be their mother (“us mem” = frisian for “our mum”), it is the world famous Frisian cow, but it has no connection to the second Sunday of May,

polonus

Second Sunday of February-Hecter it is celebrated in Norway
February 8, 2009
February 14, 2010

Look on that link and scroll down-Mothers Day is celebrated in all lot more counties than the US

Yes, I know about Mother’s Day, but Norway celebrates it the second Sunday of February.
Look at the flags in the wiki article by scrolling down and you will see a lot of different dates.

Thanks, when I first saw the Subject title I understood nothing.

Anyway, the Mothers definitely deserve the celebration in all countries(at different times in the year).
