Hardened Mode

I posted a while ago about Hardened Mode never working.Its enabled but never pops up with any notification.Will debug give any info on this?

I had Avast do a remote and they used the repair app.I don’t know if it helped.I could have done it myself but thought they may have a test file or diagnostic.

Repair Avast:
Open the Avast User Interface > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Repair App. or,
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

Thanks Bob.There was a way to test anti .exe but I can’t remember what it was called or what website.

I installed Avast Free in the Vm and enabled hardened mode.Then installed HDCleaner.Chrome stopped it then I allowed it.Next Smart Screen stopped it then I allowed it.Hardened Mode never popped up.Avast should look into this because unless something was changed with it there’s something wrong with Hardened Mode.

Hardened Mode is alive.Password Cracker finally triggered it.My mistake,sorry Avast.
