Has anyone had issues with spontanious shut down in windows?

I have 4.6 home, and my PC dumps to a blue screen and restarts spontaneously.
I have P pro OS 768 MB ram. Any Ideas?

While booting, you can choose F8 and check the option to ‘disable’ the automatically restart.
When you get the blue screen, copy the error message and Google for it (the numbers of the error).

I remember reading in one of the forums that avast was having an issue causing restarts. Is that still an issue?
